Formatic is a code formatting and translation service that helps developers:

• Format code according to industry standards and team preferences
• Translate code comments and documentation between multiple languages
• Maintain consistent coding styles across development teams
• Improve code readability and maintainability

The Service is provided on a subscription basis with different tiers offering various features and usage limits.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

5. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain all rights to the code and content you upload to our Service. We do not claim ownership of your code. However, by using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your code for formatting and translation purposes
• Store your code temporarily to provide the Service
• Generate formatted or translated versions of your code

The Service itself, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains our property.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Payment Terms

Our Service operates on a subscription model with the following tiers:

• Free: Limited formatting and translation features
• Pro: Enhanced features and higher usage limits
• Team: Collaborative features for development teams
• Enterprise: Custom solutions for large organizations

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues or system failures
• Force majeure events
• Updates or improvements to the Service

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your account and any data associated with it.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
